Ever since updating to watchOS 9.2, the battery on my S7 has tanked... prior to the update, I would end the day with 30-35% battery left... but since, it's been under 10%... anyone else?
Right there with you, series 5 owner, same situation… On 9.1 was ending my days with 65-70%, yesterday ended with 26%, and today at 3p PST already down to 62%!Ever since updating to watchOS 9.2, the battery on my S7 has tanked... prior to the update, I would end the day with 30-35% battery left... but since, it's been under 10%... anyone else?
When did you update...yesterday? This always happens. I have two recommendations:Ever since updating to watchOS 9.2, the battery on my S7 has tanked... prior to the update, I would end the day with 30-35% battery left... but since, it's been under 10%... anyone else?
^^^ THIS!When did you update...yesterday? This always happens. I have two recommendations:
1) Stop obsessing over the battery
2) Wait a few days before making any conclusions

I updated release day and my series 8 is doing fine battery wise. @chabig is right. Normally, one sees a slight hit on the battery the first day or so after updating.
Did you reboot, watch and phone?Again, NOT a ‘slight hit’. A 30% battery hit is significant.
Yep. Not my first rodeo.Did you reboot, watch and phone?
I know it's a pain but I suggest unpairing and re-pairing your watch. It straightens out many issues including battery drainingYep. Not my first rodeo.
Yours seems normal, but my S7 after 24hrs (no always on display) is running about 25%. Before the ungrade it would have 56% power after 24hrs. I’d did reboot watch and phone and it’s been a couple days. This hasn’t happened on any of the other updates in the past. Something has changedI charged my S8 to 100% at 3:29pm yesterday(Thursday). It’s now 2:10pm Friday at 66%.
9.2 killed my series 5 battery life as well. Resetting didn’t work, but re pairing brought it back.I know it's a pain but I suggest unpairing and re-pairing your watch. It straightens out many issues including battery draining
