I think one of the most fascinating things with  Watch is the UI. So here are a few things I've noticed since it's unveil:

We've got Scroll bars, but what the hell is with the green?

Anything else you noticed or liked? I'd like to keep this thread as WatchOS (and positively) focused as possible.

Scroll bar: green probably indicates where you are in the scroll list..like in Safari.

But why green?! It stands out a little too much and is an easily clashed color.

One possibility could be that our eyes are FAR more sensitive to green than any other color. Since it is a small target this allows it to be more visible.

Good point. It is rather vile, but I suspect Julien is correct, that plus it probably isn't a color used in a whole lot of other situations. ;-)

The first one is the old style earth and the second photo is the slightly redesigned style. This is also apparent in the world clock app on Apple Watch.

The 2nd Earth looks like the one from Apple Maps when you zoom all the way out.

Also, on the green scrollbar, I think it's green in order to really stand out and indicate that the digital crown will allow the user to scroll a screen element.

I agree. It serves as indicator to use the crown wheel.

I thought the scroll bar disappears except when you're actually scrolling.

I thought I saw it appear while in the watch face customize screen to select the various complications. But maybe on a scrolling page it does go away when not scrolling.

Agreed.
