Wow my launch day S4 is at 88% while my dad’s launch day S4 is still at 100%. How is everyone’s else looking? I’m sure it’s cause I have it constantly charging while I’m at home on the dock.

Launchday Series 4 @ 86%. I charge it overnight everyday.

Strange to see that some guys older Series 4 are still at 100% while others are at less than 90%. While my 86% are pretty low, I wonder if being still at 100% is realistic after more than a year.

My S5 bought at launch is at 94%. I wear it every day and charge it back to full either at night or in the morning (depending if I'm wearing it for sleep tracking). You have to remember these batteries are tiny so even a few mAh of lost capacity will result in a drop of a few percentage points worth of health. The S5 had a 296 mAh battery when new. At 94% is is now 278 which is only a 18 mAH decrease. While i like having this data, in some ways i wish Apple wouldn't give it to me. It's just another thing for me to obsess over!

One of the primary reasons of owing an Apple Watch is for the data! For me at least. :)

Hmm my Series 3 Cellular that has been active since launch day is showing at 99%. It really comes down to how many charge cycles. And don't just leave it on the charging puck all day!

Supposedly the new "Optimized Battery Charging" feature "learns from your daily charging routines so it can wait to finish charging past 80% until you need to use it." Haven't used watchOS 7 enough to see how well it works.

I have a 2017 S3 worn every day and at night for sleep tracking and it says my battery health is 100%. It does seem to have the same battery life as when new, but I can’t see how the battery can have no degradation in 3 years.
To be fair the battery rarely gets below 50% and I charge it before bed to around 95% so maybe it’s the way I have managed the battery.

S5 Nike, 11 month old, still at 100%. I use it daily from 08:00 to 00:00 (40-50% at the end of the day). At least 1 exercise per day, constant notifications, timers etc.

My launch day S4 showed 99% when I handed it to my daughter. Replaced with S6. I charge in the mornings at my desk and take it off the charger as soon as its full to wear it until the next morning. Most mornings, I still have about 40% of my battery left. I did run it until dead at least a dozen times forgetting to charge or being some place I couldn't.

S3 bought in April of 2018 and its still showing 100 percent health. I wear it everyday and use it for sleep tracking it rarely goes below 50 percent and I charge it only when I shower in the morning usually back to 95-100 percent. My S0 on the other hand the battery started to tank right around the 1.5 year mark
