Hello,
Yesterday I spilled some water on my mac’s trackpad. I cleaned it up fast with a towel, I didn’t think anything passed through. A few hours later, wile using it, the Force Touch and the keyboard stopped working. I put it upside down and some water started coming out of the lower right corner of the trackpad (exactly where it spilled). I shut it down and turned it upside down ever since.

My question is - what do I do now? I bought the laptop from Amazon. Do I set up a repair with Amazon or do I just bring it to an Apple Store? Any estimation on how much the repair could cost me? I don’t have Apple care. There don’t seem to be any other issues as of yet. The keyboard backlight works, the Touch ID doesn’t (it’s the same connection as with the keyboard?). No problems with the display or turning it on and off.

Thank you very much!

Top case replacement would be about $800 through Apple.

If you want to buy a used top case and do the job yourself, the part is about $300 on eBay.
