My iPhone4s was dipped into water near the ear phones port...I've checked and it has triggered the sensor and has gone pink. A really odd thing that is happening is the camera flash won't go off...EVEN WHEN THE PHONE IS TURNED OFF!!!! How weird is that??!!?? lol

Anyhow, will Apple take this phone back and charge me $169.00 (Plus Tax) to give me a new/refurb iPhone4s??

I talked to a customer service rep last week about switching this one and paying the $169.00 to get a new one...last week I smashed the back's glass and the person said "yes, they will exchange it for $169.00" but I don't know if that includes water damage too??

Does anyone know this? Thanks in advance.

Stick it in a full bowl of 'dry' rice (aka not cooked!) after the battery dies, so it is completely covered. After about a day, pull it out, clean it off and plug it in. Let it charge atleast an hour. Turn it on. Enjoy.
