At what point corrosion could damage the laptop long time. I bought a lemon from some guy on the Internet and the laptop has had water damage. Therefore, I'm curious to know at what point could the water or coffee that was spilled on the laptop could do damage afterwards?

The apple store said it had touched the motherboard, but the computer works fine. Doesn't have a problem yet. It said corrosion could do damage but he didn't know to much about it since he wasn't the tech guy.

Can I have some more info about that from your side? Is thee something to do to prevent corrosion?
