hello all -

I wonder if you could give me some suggestions ... a few months ago i dropped my iphone in a cup of water ... awesome I know. I did the whole bag in rice thing and within a few days it powered on and worked fine. The only problem was that the screen was very bright and looked nothing like the original LCD screen. The picture was faint and was very difficult to read. Over teh course of a few weeks and months it got better and better and now its stuck at the current state. It's no where near what it looks like out of the box but its readable and usable. After months of this, Im getting cranky and would love to replace it. I've google and youtube'd videos on how to repair this but i'm worried if its not just an easy fix of replacing the LCD screen. Does anyone know if it could possible be something else or is it most likely a water damaged LCD screen that causes the problem ? The last thing I want to do is drop money and time on replacing a screen and it still is messed up.

thanks.
