a couple weeks ago, i dropped my ipod touch into a sink full of cold water. i immediately removed it. it was only in there for about ten seconds, if even. as soon as i took it out of the water, i dried it it off and tried to turn it on. it wouldn't turn on or respond to anything. i left it in rice for two weeks, then the other day i took it out and plugged it into my computer. it turns on now but the screen is all white. is there any hope for my ipod? what can i do if there is. it's under warranty and you can barely tell that the water damage sticker in the headphone jack is a really light pink.:(

ouch....

I had a similar experience(not that similar though, ipod was in the washing machine for a full cycle), but I had the patience and hope that it would come back from the dead. I kept it in the sun for like 4 days and then plugged it to my laptop and everything was back to normal except the wifi receiver (internet still intermittently drops)
