Hi

So I ran some water over my watch to give it a clean then used the water eject, for some reason I could barely hear the eject sound, I tried several times. The speaker became very quiet and tinny, I decided to leave it over night in its side to dry out, this morning it sounds perfect again.

I ran water over it again and tested the eject feature and it’s very weak, no water seems to be ejected, im sure it will be fine again when it’s dry but why the sudden change to power of the eject? In the past I could see the water being pushed out.

I'm speculating, but the tinny sound is probably related to the volume of water on the speaker. The more water is on the speaker then the harder it is for the driver to push the cone and generate the sound wave to eject the water. The result is both the tinny sound and the reduced water ejection.

So the more water there is on the speaker the less effective the ejection is. But you can always run the ejection multiple times. If I notice that things sound weaker I'll run it again a few minutes later.

I’ve just told Siri to tell me a story and laid the watch on its side, bits of water have been ejected and it sounds better, I remember the eject feature being better but I’m not sure
