Hi,
I have done a very stupid thing! I put my iBook down where I thought it was dry but it turned out to not be. This was some time ago. Initially the screen appeared to have bubbles behind it,but all else seemed fine.Having left the whole thing to dry out over several weeks the bubbles have gone but the bottom 1/3 of the screen has the dreaded vertical lines. Should I assume that I need a replacement LCD or could the situation be more serious.
Any suggestions would be great. Cheers.

seems you need a replacement LCD now... It was very dangerous to use the machine when it was still wet. You are lucky, and just LCD got the issue.

water in my iBook

Thanks Skyrim
I was lucky indeed. It was a very small amount and I was not aware of it until I had turned it on. Turned it off a lot quicker I can tell you!
Cheers for reply.
