Had a 3 week old mac book air, 13". My kitchen faucet broke spilling water all over the new computer breaking it. Took it into Apple and they swapped it out for a new one! Way to go Apple!

so apple swapped your water damaged mba with a new replacement one free of charge? very lucky :)

Yup. I handed them just the machine, they handed me a brand new sealed one so I also got an extra power cable.

But then will they then just sell the water damaged MacBook Air to some other poor soul?

Great service. Especially since they didn't have to do anything and could have said SOL.

No way, they will do a full diagnosis, find the real issue and fix before selling as a refurb.

I hope they don't end up sending you a invoice for a replacement MBA, once they find out it has liquid damage. Otherwise you may have to return the MBA back.
