Waterproof cases for iPhone XS

I have a very old iPhone but hope to be upgrading to an Xs soon.

Because of work I will have to keep it in a strong shockproof and waterproof case.

Do waterproof cases block the speakers and microphones on iPhone ? Can I still record video with sound and hear music, games etc?

Yes the whole thing is enclosed....but you will have to raise the volume a couple notches louder also they moved the camera so the X waterproof cases won’t fit. It must be exact for that kind of case. I tried the catalyst it was a bust. And lifeproof I’m done with people always have problems hearing me on calls the catalyst case doesn’t have that issue. But the waterproof cases always take a few months after phone release
