I'm sort of interested in the new 13" retina MBPs.

I currently have a mid-2012 cMBP with 2.9 GHZ Core i7.

I wouldn't be able to afford upgrading to the i7 on the 13" rMBP, but I'm wondering if there is a chart somewhere where I could look at how the current i7 I have (whichever generation that is) compares to a Haswell i5?

Thanks!

BTW, I did try searching the threads . . .

geekbench?

geekbench?

Thanks. I was able to find their list. Interestingly the new rMBPs with i5s are actually slower than my current model. Only the highest end i7 has a very slight speed improvement over my current one—but is $500 more expensive than the machine I have now was.

I know that the flash storage makes a difference in actual speeds, as well, and it doesn't look like stepping down to the i5 makes a huge impact.
