Hi everyone,

quick question - is there a way to get a sound from a soundboard app and save it onto my laptop so I can make it into a custom ringtone? I've been trying to find the relevant files using Cyberduck but no luck. Thanks

the sounds should be in that particular app folder; probably in var/mobile/Applications. find that app, look in the .app folder contents (for aiff, or caf files probably).

copy it to your computer; you'll probably need to convert it to an m4r file...

If it's a soundboard you dl'd from Cydia, they usually reside in Themes. If it's a soundboard attached to a theme, same thing, just within that theme. Within an app, see above. Usually .caf files within an app. Just dl them them with Cyberduck and convert them. Use Google or Versiontracker to find a Mac app to convert to aiff or MP3. (.caf are Mac files to begin with.)
