Self-explanatory. Even if slow, I just need to make sure Apps that require iOS 5 can run on a non-Retina display properly and test whatever else I can while at it.

iOS 5 works on both iPhone 3GS and the third generation iPod touch. Neither of those have retina displays. There is no way to get iOS 5 working on a 3G unless you had access to the source code.

The 3G stopped getting iOS updates at 4.2.1. It was pretty much unstable at that point so many people had to switch back to iOS 3.

whited00r is not the real iOS 4 or 5. It is just modifications to make it look and feel like it. So it's useless for him to use.

It would maybe be possible, but you would need to modify A LOT of files, plus the 3G barely handles iOS 4 nevermind iOS 5
