Is there a way to 'remember' different volume levels on a per app basis ( ie. so my audible is always at 50% when I open it, versus my youtbube is 80%, and so on )?

Alternatively, is there a simple app that will do this?

Ty!

Shortcuts.

Setup an Automation to save the current volume level to a file in Files (On My iPhone/iPad is ideal place, imo) when the app closes. And have a corresponding Automation to read the file when the app starts to set the volume back to what it was.

Interesting and sounds like it'd work.
Does using automations in this way create any noticeable change in how an app opens or closes? Or is it 100% seamless?
