Is there a way to run two different instances of mail with different accounts?

Say like, firefox mobile you can run off a USB key. I didn't want to create a whole new profile to just use mail.

Thanks for any advice! :)

Oh yes, fully aware! :) thanks. It wasn't a new user question. I would like to have two different profiles which are saved to two different folders, just like Firefox profiles say.

Still looking for solutions ?

it would be PERFECT if there was a portable version of the Mac Mail app i could run off a USB key...

You Could

Use Mail for one account, and Thunderbird for the others....That's what I do...It's was born of necessity due to the bugs and glitches in Outlook for Mac, they have now been fixed, but I've left things as they are. I can have Mail and Thunderbird open at the same time with different settings. Works for me.

Sorry, no answer, I just want to second the question. I'd also love to be able to run two instances of Mail.app with different configs.

+1 I use Thunderbird for 2 accounts, and Mail for 2 others. I actually prefer Thunderbird to Mail anyway...More features and add on's make it a more versatile option IMO.
