Is there a way to save money and not pay the (for me) $299 fee for a 32/64GB iPhone 5 by trading your iPhone 4 in? My device is in pristine condition - not a nick in the face.

You could sell it on craigslist, but I wouldn't do it personally, too dangerous

i sold my 3gs on ebay to fund my iPhone 4. and this was in september or so, so there was still a market. I got about $350 for my 32GB 3GS in great condition with all the accessories, so after taxes and ebay fees and upgrade fees, it turned out to be almost a straight swap for the 4
