Way to use Time Machine and an online backup utility such as Carbonite?

Hey everyone, I'm starting to look into online backup solutions for my MacBook Air as it only has a 128gb hard drive. Anyways, I was thinking of going with Carbonite but I love how in Time Machine you can "enter Time Machine" and it takes you back through a history of your files. Can the two work together?
