Ways of making money.

I need to think of ways to make money, and fast. I need to get around £100 within a week. What can I do? o_O

You can start by knowing that your title is a question and not a statement.
Next, pony up some info about yourself. How old are you? What is the legal age to begin work in your state/country? What experience do you have? What can YOU do for someone else, rather than asking what someone else can do for you.

Or just sit online and ask questions ... err make statements that look like questions. That yields no income to you, but I'm sure it's fun nonetheless.

OK, I am 14 and I know a lot about computers. I can code websites and design websites. I am also a graphics designer.

I'm good with helping with generally anything. I live in the United Kingdom.

Getting £100 in a week and being 14 is going to be near impossible... You're going to have to find companies that want a website designed for them, but even then, that'll take longer than a week... Could you not just ask your parents for a loan if it's really that urgent?

Time to bust out that law mower and start working. I mean, you have school all day. Not much time for a job and you'll have to be paid under the table right?

Go to work for the local meth dealer.
Find some desperate cougar willing to pay.
Rob the local convenience store.
Snatch a purse or two.
You a church going lad? - Steal the donation tin.
Sell your bodily fluids. Surely a spry lad of 14 could make a quick buck.

Of course, you could always get up off your arse and mow a lawn, shovel some snow, deliver stuff, flip burgers.

When I was 16 in highschool, I started a Mac Onsite repair/consulting business. I designed a website and got my name out there with small businesses and contacts through friends and family.

I charged $30/hour, and often time got even more (tips). If you act professional, nobody will question your age. Just get your name out there.

I'm a few years older now, and I carried my business and business name up to College. Got a few small businesses to hire me, and now I charge $40/hour, and work oftentimes 10-12 hours/week. Basically pays for school.

If you can't find work, you ain't trying hard enough...
Linkety :p

I recommend a loan-and-payback scheme for such short-term cashflow situations; you're too young to earn it any other way. Most companies aren't interested in websites or graphics right now, either. Your best bet is to plan ahead, ask for a loan from your parents, and work with them to make that money.

However, it might be difficult to work if you've already got the money... so, maybe your parents aren't going to be so enthusiastic about lending money without much chance of getting it back. Better come up with a really good plan before you ask them for the money, so they can see that you won't be slacking off in a week and a half.

Seeing as how it's winter, Lawn mowing won't work. I'm 15, and I have all the money I need (I have a job). Maybe you should try it? It will take longer than a week. Why not have someone front you the money?

Got a camera? Take some piccies of something and maybe you can get them bought by a stock photography company.

Learn to paint (artistically) and then have a museum buy your creation for really big money.

14 years old eh? I assume you play video games? If you are good at it, make a few bets with your friends that you can beat them at Halo or something!
