Hey all.

i know that changing your resolution and increasing RAM will increase framerates, but are there any other different ways to do so?

any help would be appreciated :D

iMac G5 1.9Ghz PPC 17" 1gb RAM (x2 sticks of 512mb)

Depending on how full/big your hard drive is, getting a newer and larger one can help a little.

There are only two ways to increase FPS in games:
1) Upgade hardware.
2) Turn down graphics settings.

What more are you looking for?

Or upgrade CPU, RAM, or video card, if possible. Obviously not in an iMac though.

Well i have been playing WoW lately and i was looking for like a 1gb RAM upgrade....you think that will so the trick? on avarage i have been having like 10-18fps, and for some reason when i go to northrend (wrath of the lich king (3rd expansion pack)) i get 1-3fps....unless my character is facing a wall with nobody near by...if i need to change my resolution then so be it, but i would rather play with better quality :)

On a Mac, the best way to increase FPS is to get a new GPU (on any computer). The weak graphics cards are usually the performance bottleneck.

A single core CPU and 1GB of RAM will cause a performance hit, upgrade to a dual core and to 2GB of RAM.
