Atomic Browser Lite on My iOS 6 iPad Mini is able to open a new tab by holding the URL. When I did hold The URL on My iOS 8 iPad Mini 2 though only 2 options would come out. Open and Copy. So. You guys?

While we're at it how do we open recently closed tabs on Atomic Browser Lite? Do not know how on any kind of iPad and any kind of iOS.

What do you mean by your "iOS 6 iPad Mini 2?"

I reworded it for everyone:

Atomic Browser Lite on My iOS 6 iPad Mini is able to open a new tab by holding the URL bar.

When I hold The URL bar on iOS 7/8?? iPad Mini 2 though, only 2 options would come up - Open and Copy. So. You guys? Why is it different?

While we're at it, how do we open recently closed tabs?

The last time this app was updated was November 2012. The app only supports iOS versions 4 to 6. The app has not been updated to add support for iOS 7/8, seems like the developers have abandoned it. Hope that is what you are asking.

He's running iOS version 6 on his second-gen iPad Mini?

Oooops. I meant to write iOS 8.

Thank you. You seem the only one so far who have come up with a logical answer.

Quite shocking that by not updating the browser it eliminates the open in new tab feature?

iOS 8 brought quite a lot of behind-the-scene changes. Apps work by calling on OS functions, so if the OS functions change, then apps stop working. I had several older apps that had long ago been abandoned by their developers, and many of them stopped working with iOS 8. One game no longer saves game progress, another app doesn't open at all. You are getting off easy if the only thing that has stopped working is this open new tab function.
