Im sure this has been done before but i would like to draw your attention to the app "Waze".
It is a user generated mapping application and the users are slowly creating maps of the entire world!! It autiomatcailly tracks where you go and you can make your gps tracks into roads on the online interface.
I live in the UK, and it isnt used very much here so i thought i might come here to drum up some support.
Check it out please, i would love it to take off in a big way
