i just got the whitebook a day after the alum came out. i would have got the alum but the price put me off so went with the whitebook. anyway,do you think apple would install the 9400m if i paid abit more etc.do they do things like that.

they should have updated the whitebooks the same time of the new alums instead of waiting all this time. why do they do stuff like that lol.
 
The machines use integrated graphics chips, so I doubt you can just call Apple up and ask them to swap them for you without replacing the logic board.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it's as simple a process as you're hoping for.

Right, You'll have to find a macbook with a 9400m with a broken screen or smth, and then swap logic boards.... :D
