Ok so, I'm kind of lost here where the problem should be. My guess is more on the crappy WD but I would like to hear some feedbacks.
I installed a new HD, a WD scorpio 640gb. I upgraded my system to Leopard
Snow as well. So then everything went wrong!!!!
First the hd was changing speeds all the time and making delays. I searched over forums and found about hdapm utility which makes hd stop changing speeds and stop the damn lag it did everytime this happened. This problem now, "it seems" to be a somewhat better if my keyboard and mouse would not hang from time to time (about every 15 minutes) for about 20 seconds.
So can anyone tell me where is the problem. Is this 640gb HD sooooo bad?! The changing of speeds is not happening anymore but this keyboard freezing all the time is making me nuts! Or could it be something with Leopard Snow as well (I red something about hidd processes what makes me wonder what might be wrong)?
