In a van down by the river
For those looking for more external storage, Best Buy has the WD easystore 10TB drive on sale (today only) for $189.00. It also comes with a free 32GB USB drive. If you use Google Express at checkout, you can save more by using code (Holiday18). New Google Express users (iOS or Android) save more by using code (AppHoliday25). For those of us who don't use Google, it would have been nice if I could have found a working coupon. For that price, I hit the buy now button.

Wow this is tempting!!!
No doubt about that.

The Easystore drives are a BB-exclusive and not sold in the Canadian BB stores. Canadian stores have the 8 TB WD Elements that also contain white-label version.

During 2017's boxing week, I was able to purchase two 8 TB Easystore drives and these contained actual red drives with the red label.

I didn't notice any air holes so these would be helium-filled which is a very good thing!
According to a post on Reddit, from a guy who bought several fo them...

"Bought a couple of these this week and have shucked them. You get a white labelled helium-filled (Shown by Smart Status 22) 10 TB WD Red drives with the model number - WD100EMAZ

These are PMR drives and are great for NAS Storage Servers. I've been getting around 180-200MBps on transfers with these in a NAS Server. Get them while you can."

That is great confirmational news.

Not sure how you were able to use Google Express. I’ve tried different methods to use GE and it wasn’t available for this drive. Perhaps, it’s by locale.

Google Express sold out early. I didn’t use Google. I paid the Best Buy price of $189.

Oh, okay. I’ve tried off and on since 11-12 CST today and could only purchase at $189 + tax. It would have been a ridiculously good discount for another 20% and I thought maybe it was a mistake.

$159 as of 2/13/2020.

Wow storage is getting so cheap. $279 for the 14TB. All my data including my photos... is just barely under 300GB so I can't justify it... doesn't mean I don't want it bad. :)

The 14TB was $199 in December. I am waiting for that sale again. I bought 5- 12TB for $189 last sale for my NAS.
