:eek:I've been using a WD passport external for some time now for storing pictures and various files. Today, while moving my macbook, the usb cable for the external came out accidentally. When trying to plug it back in, I now get a message saying: "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer". I've tried using disk utility to repair the disk. I can see both the external HD and virtual CD on it. The CD is grayed out however, and it won't let me repair or verify either one. They also won't mount on disk warrior. Can someone please advise me as to how I can get my files off of it if it is possible? I am sick to my stomach that I may have lost them. :( I appreciate any and all responses.
