WD Hard drive Problem

Hey guys, I recently got a 1TB Western Digital Home Edition Hard drive. When I used to plug it in, it worked fine and the hard drive would glow white lights n the front.
After a few days, its turned on and its warm, but its not recognized by my computer. I go to disk utilities and its not there either. I don't know what to do now. I tried restarting the hard drive, but it does nothing.
If anyone had the same problem and fixed it or either they know how to fix this problem, PLEASE reply to this post.

of course the USB Cable is connected. I tried both firewire and USB to do it.

Please update us what happened, I also got WD 120 old one.
So I know how we handle it.
