I have an external WD Mybook 3TB drive that is formatted NTFS, and I have been using it to store stuff copied off my Mac, today for some reason I connected it to my Mac and it says its read only, I can no longer copy anything to it. I haven't messed around with it at all, nor has it been plugged into a PC recently....not sure what is going on, any thoughts?

Yes I was, totally forgot about that, thanks for reminding me, taken care of.

Doh!!!

Can either of you recommend a third party software that will enable OS X to write to NTFS? I'm having the same trouble as ashman. Thanks!

I use NTFS for Mac OS X (by Paragon) for the rare occasions when I need to write to an NTFS drive.
