So, my dad gave me a WD My Book Live (as he upgraded to a larger one) He deleted all his files off of it, but I cannot get it to show up in disk utility to format it for my Mac. His files are gone, but his file folders are still there, and I can't get rid of them. Every time I try to delete them, they say they are in use, even tho they are empty and they are indeed not in use.
Im really at a loss here, Been messing with it for a while, and even tried the WD software, but that won't help because it wants the LED on the drive to be steady green, and mine is flashing green...
If anyone can help me out, Id appreciate it.
