Anyone have any experience with this Network Harddrive?

I thought about purchasing one. At Best Buy the 2 TB one is like $159. It says works with Mac, PC, Ipad, Android

The Apple guy in Best Buy tried to sell me the Apple brand combination router/harddrive. His advice was I need a dual brand router anyway with that Western Digital Harddrive so I might as well buy the Apple.

Any thought?

What a coincidence! I have I have "targeted" to buy this drive as well and wondered if there is some feedback by macrumors users (there is plenty in amazon and frankly,it doesn't make me very optimistic) . Also, will I be able to use the drive, when my wireless network is off,or I am at place, that doesn't have one. I am asking this, because there is no USB port. Or as soon as you plug it into power you are ready to use it?
