I just bought the 1.5 TB WD My Book. I was wondering how to use the power button. Also what is the icon for WD SmartWare for?
 
I dont use the power button on my WD My Book, I just turn off my iMac when the drive goes to sleep, quietly and beautifully. Or sometimes when Im just using my iMac and I dont want the drive to be ON without use, I just eject it from my computer and it goes to sleep...
the icon I have no idea since I partitioned my WD nothing is there but my files
