What is the difference between this two:

My Passport
http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=640

My Passport Essential
http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=440

There is no difference in price at my supplier, so I just want to know which one to pickup?

And also another question. Recently I bought a Buffalo MiniStation Extreme 1TB. Really nice portable drive and quite fast also! But the drive within is 5400 RPM, so I've been thinking: Can I get higher speeds if I pickup a drive with USB3 and 7200 RPM? If yes:

Has somebody tried the Samsung S2 Portable Drive USB 3.0 (7200 RPM)? Is it a better drive and should I get that one instead?

The My Passport Essential are the previous gen. The My Passport are the newer drives.
I've had both and other then the physical differences, there's nothing much else in it.
