WD MyBook and iTunes

Hey guys,


I have a WD MyBook Studio Edition Terabyte HD....now i know since its storage I shouldn't run programs off of it...however I was wondering I have my iTunes movie listing pointed to that HD....(thats where I keep it, too much to keep on my macbook) is it okay if I play movie files off of it? or should I transfer them to my MacBook HD before playing? Thanks

It should be fine to play movies from the HD without any issues.
Uncheck the copy files when adding to iTunes in iTunes Prefs and just add them in

Yes, you'll be able to do that just fine, that's the setup I have at home.
