WD mybook failed need help saving files please

Hi guys, I am sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question.

I had a WD mybook 1TB edition, a week ago the device failed, I popped it open to find 2 500g hard drives, I have a 2 bay external RAID capable enclosure, when I popped them in a single drive was seen but not recognized and I was given the option to eject or initialize. It was the WD enclosure that failed and not the drives, I checked that.

Does anyone know of anyway to save the data on the drives?
