WD Passport... HELP!

I bought a passport to do some backing up, however i accidently deleted some of the files that came with the passport... now for some reason it will not work on PC's but still works on Macs.

Any advice how I can get it to work on PCs again

Sounds like your used Disk Utility or Time Machine. Did you reformat the drive?

It reformatted the drive to HFS+. If you want to use it between platforms when FAT32 is your best option. The data that was on the drive from the factory is gone but it should be recoverable from Western Digital's website.

ps. there is no way to get that 4 gb restriction out of the way

to be seen by both windows and mac it has to be fat32 which has the 4gb restriction, HFS+ does not, but cant be seen by windows, just like NTFS dosent, but cant be written to in OSX

Not if you're using FAT32.

Your other alternative is to buy MacDrive for your Windows boxes and format the drive HFS+.
