WD Passport Not Readable?

Hey!

So just starting today, I plugged in my WD Passport which I have used COUNTLESS times. Now I am getting a notice that says:

Disk Insertion
The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer.

Initalize, Ignore, or Eject

What do I do? Help!

And if you can, tell me step by step how to do it, because I don't know how to use Disk Utility or whatever.

Which format is the Passport (NTFS, FAT32, etc.)?

I have no idea whatsoever. How do I check? Sorry! I'm pretty bad at this stuff.

I assume you've used it with your Mac computers.

When the volume shows up on the right side of the screen, Get Info and see if it's FAT32/NTFS/etc.

I'm having the same problems too and I'm going crazy wondering what did I do now, I mean this is the first this ever happen and I'm afraid I might lose everything on it since it's 1tb and I'm hoping someone can fix this for me!
