Hi, I have a WD Passport 500GB and a Macbook Air with OS X version 10.7.5.
Previously I have always used a windows computer therefore the hard disk is set to windows system. As I bought the MacBook a while ago I would like to transfer data from my mac to the hard disk as well, therefore I download the NFTS and Macfuse software. After installing both my hard disk wasn't even working at all anymore. I tried to uninstall both programs but still the hard disk was not working. Through the forum I found a sudo code that should get ride of both NFTS and MacFuse, after using that.. I didn't get to see the error messages saying that the hard disk could not mount anymore. Thought it was working perfectly again, however I cannot get passed the point of unlocking my hard disk. My hard disk is unlocked but does not show in my finder anywhere and cannot access my documents :(
Does anyone know how to get my hard disk working as a read only again?
Thank you!!
