wds crazy wonky frustration

why can't i get wds to work??????!?!?/1/1??!?!?!??!


ik amm a little drunjk at htis point of the night so pleade excuse me, butg i've been trying to do this for quite some time with no avail!!!!


this is the setup:

1. a modem/wireless router with ethernet out
2. an airport extreme
3. an airport express....


the stupid dsl modem is integrated in the #1 router, so in order to permit one of my roomates to have an ethernet cord, and the other roomates to have regular wireless + airtunes, i try wds, though i CAN'T GE TIT WO WORK!!!?!??!?!


i will revise this in the morning, but any advice???

sleep, but now hung over....

anyway....



.... the airport extreme gets internet, the ethernet cord from the extreme does too,

but the airport express which is not plugged in to it does not get internet, so i can't stream music to it while maintaining web access....


i get messages during setup that suggest i need to deselect "share ip addresses" and that channeles are limited or whatever, jesh.....


any suggestions?

why would a pc not be able to connect to the airport? it says limited or no connectivity... it's not getting an ip address

What sort of wireless security are you using?

Also, is the Extreme set up to use DHCP to connect to the original modem/router which in turn is connecting itself to the internet, right?
