WDS with Main, Relay and Remote. Which station is main for remote?

Hi there,

Setting up a WDS here.

Got 1 Main (extreme), 1 relay in the next room (express), and 3 remotes (express) in the following rooms.

Now - I entered the Airport ID's for the 3 remotes into the relay, and for good measure also entered them into the main. Also the relay is of course entered into the main. I entered the main ID in the 3 remotes.

When I boot the airport stations up in their rooms, all but the relay goes green. The relay goes yellow, says it cant find any WDS stations in its WDS network.

Am I supposed to enter the relay ID in the remotes where it says "main ID"?

Unless you're doing some special config, you may find it easier to reset everything to defaults, use the wizard to set up the extreme then add the relay again using the wizard, then add the other 3 one at a time...

That way everything will be configured for you.

If you don't want to do that, then I believe you should add the MAC addresses of the relay (not the main) into the remotes.
