Does anybody else think this was anti-climatic? I can't help but feel the competition still offers a better deal. Wow, ix cpus and a new video card! My cup runneth over, Steve.

I waited since December and they update the 13" MBP with an Intel Core 2 Duo chip. WTF Apple seriously??????? Not only do they slap us on the face with that but they jack up the price on the entry 15" model. Wasn't it $1699 yesterday? Total Disappointment. Why couldn't an i3 be used in the Macbook Pro 13 with integrated graphics???

I really am shocked at this upgrade... For such a minor tweak, the price is still pretty high compared to the competition. I thought they would bump the memory on the higher end notebooks to a default of 6 gig, maybe offer USB 3.0, or increase the resolution (again, on the higher end notebooks).

Its hard to not look at Sony and think they offer way more technology for the money...

I figured Apple must not be too proud either, the front page still is pushing the iPad and the only change to the store is the tiny NEW icon above the notebooks.

i took a screenshot yesterday so i could compare.
