Hello MacRumors People!

A friend and I had a idea for a service called DesktopE but we need a Mac OS X VPS. Where could we get one (preferably with a trial period)?

Just as a side note: proof read all the text on that website again, and let someone else do it too.
I found several capitalised words, that are not capitalised and interrupt the flow, I also found some mis-spellings (HardDrives, int he, ...) and also some wrong punctuations (; instead of : ).

Sorry! My friend typed that up. We really need to redo that website!

I suggest you take a look at some open source VPS software and try porting it to OS X. Of course you'll need Xcode and the OS X SDK. I'm not saying it's doable but it is worth taking a look.

I wonder if Apple would allow this. They seem to be pretty protective about what hardware they allow their OS to run on. This would circumvent the hardware requirements pretty handily so that makes me think Apple will have a problem with it.

OS X server can be virtualized on a Mac.
