The tech specs only say speaker, not stereo speakers like the iPad 1!!

We went from Stereo Speakers on iPad 1 to "Built-in speaker" on iPad 2??

I had an iPad 1 and returned it waiting for this new version- it had 2 speakers separated by an inch, that had different sounds (stereo?). I've seen the teardown and there were two speakers.
Plus, now the "speaker" is on the back (not bottom) facing away from your viewing, like a cheap cell phone. Larger grill = deceptive.

As I said in another thread.
At night I like to lay on my bed, iPad on my pillow and play a game.
This new design looks like laying the iPad onto any soft surface, such as a pillow or bed cover is going to totally block off the sound output.
Not good if this is the case.
