We will be seeing a home button on the iPad 2

Apple has stated that the iPad gestures are only in the beta edition and will be removed in the public release of iOS 4.3. (Maybe we will see the addition of the gestures in iOS 5)

Would you have preferred the gestures and no home button or a home button (like we will be seeing in the iPad 2)

Lets just hope they don't remove the mute or rotation lock chose

Congrats on the iPad!

I have wanted one for almost a year and I am planning on getting the 2nd generation on launch day (iPad 2 will be worth the wait)

I agree. I wish there was an option "Home button with gestures."

But if forced to choose one of the available options, I'd take the home button over the gestures any day.
