I am using a Motorola S805 headset. I have paired this with my phone (3GS and iPhone 5). I can leave the iPhone 5 into my room and walk into other rooms around 20 feet away and there's nothing faulty with the sound I hear through my headphones.
I connect my headset through Macbook Air. I choose 'Use as Audio Device' and it ...does not... work. I have to keep it 1-3 inches next to my laptop and at very certain specific angles only. Changing the angle and changing proximity will screw it up where no audio comes out of the headset and Macbook Air disconnects in 15 seconds if I keep it this way. Then I get a message it encountered a problem, and then it will resume sound on its own internal laptop speakers. I have tried re-pairing again and it doesn't fix it. I have turned off my phone's bluetooth and it still doesn't work. It has been fully charged.
