My iPhone 3gs has been acting strange today. Vibrate doesn't seem to have the same intensity it did yesterday. I compared it to my fiance's iPhone 3gs, which has a much stronger vibration. My battery is at 50%, but when I receive calls, I can't even feel it in my pocket, and on a table it barely even makes a sound.

It DOES vibrate some, but not to the same intensity. Do the vibrate motors die on these??? I did restart it twice, but maybe a restore would fix it???

I can't say I've ever had an issue with the vibrator being weak. A charged battery always helps. I'd be surprised if the motor runs out.

Perhaps make an appointment with Apple to find out.

This thread is about something waaaaaay different than I originally thought.....

haha... I wasn't sure if there was a more politically correct way to put it....

But seriously, my phone's VIBRATE function doesn't seem to have any power behind it...

It worked yesterday, and now suddenly it just seems weak...

That is really weird. Could it have to do with a new app you installed?

I forgot there was a vibrate hah, I just always turn the vibrate toggle to off. Just never a person that like my phone vibrating.
Have you always had it on? Maybe you're phones all "vibrated out" or something.

Perhaps a visit to the Genius Bar is warranted if an Apple Store is close by.

Yeah...

This thread title FTW! :D

It's best for trapping people who actually don't read threads, just see the titles and post.

Second the vote for the Genius Bar, particularly since it was working fine one day and then suddenly wasn't the next. I know others have complained about weak vibrators in the past , but mine is much stronger than it has been on any other phone I've ever owned. Seriously, the first time it went off while I was on a call, I thought I was being electrocuted or something. It startled the hell out of me.
