I upgraded my 1.33 powerbook to a new 15" 2.4 MBP

I used to be able to sit on my bed and surf the internet but now
i just cannt with the MBP... i have to have it right next to my door to find the
internet... i turn on my PB and like magic if connects to the internet...

so is the card better in the older powerbooks?

I think one of Steve's selling points on the new MBP over the PB, was it had better wifi. So I think you may have an issue, but probably a small issue. :)

I have verizon fios, and either the router they gave me absolutely BLOWS or the card in my MBP is not up to par.

My friend and I were sitting next to each other, he had an HP with windows nonsense, and I had my MBP, and his internet was working very well with mine sluggish. Very disappointing.

I have the apple airport, i dont think its a problem with that...
cuz i can have hem side by side and have internet on my pb and nothing on my mbp... :(
