Weaning someone off of Spamarrest?

I have a friend who is using spamarrest (spamarrest.com). I would like to help them cut over to using a gmail account for their spam filtering.

Could someone please spell out how to do this? When I pull messages off of the spamarrest.com site as a batch, will I be using the read flag on the messages?

I couldn't see any definitive guide anywhere on how to do this. TIA.
