I'm left handed and haven't worn a watch in 20+ years but when I did I wore it on my right arm. There's something that I think would bother me about having the crown on the bottom if you turn the band and screen orientation around so since I've gotten in on Friday I've been wearing it on my left wrist, which has worked out ok so far.

But what I was thinking is what if I wore it on my right wrist and didn't switch the band and screen orientation?

I don't think it would be too awkward to hit the crown with either my thumb or reach my finger around the top like this:

Anyone tried this or worn a regular watch that doesn't switch around on your right hand?

Would have been better if the crown was centered for right or left handed use.

I’ve been thinking about it, because I’m not a huge fan of the crown hitting the back of my hand all the time. But I’m giving myself a couple of weeks with the “normal” configuration first.

I flip the orientation of the crown. The whole point of the crown is to interact with the watch without blocking the screen with your hand. If you leave the crown on the right, that action becomes much more awkward or you inadvertently end up covering the screen with your hand. That defeats the point of the crown in my mind.

Edit: Just realized this is an ancient thread. Why was this resurrected?
