Weather and stocks background refresh

Anyone know how often stocks and weather updates when background refresh is enabled?

I don't know exactly when, and when it does depends on how often you use the apps. I had it on for a couple of days, but every time I opened up the Weather app, it always had to refresh anyways, so I turned it off for battery life.

Weather.app seems to always be updated for me -- so much so, that I've made it my "page one" default weather app.

I did a test and timed a bunch of other weather apps to see which one opens and updates the fastest (Yahoo Weather, Weathercaster, Weather Bug, TWC, among others)...and it's Apple's for the win.

Apple just needs to fix the issue of having to have location services running for weather to show up in the notification center.
